Project Outline

-A general analysis of the supply of knowledge and products that can be used within the preclinical testing and the corresponding demand for efficient and robust in vitro  tests from the European pharmaceutical industry.

-A workshop “The needs of novel in vitro tests within the pharmaceutical industry in Europe ” with participants from the academia, manufacturers of in vitro tests, pharmaceutical industry (representing the users of in vitro testing methods) and legal authorities. The workshop will function as a link between the stakeholders as they get an opportunity to sit down and discuss with each other crucial issues around the availability of recently developed in vitro methods.

-A report that will summarize the current situation and the outcome from the workshop. The report will be disseminated in a form that will reach the stakeholders as easily accessible as possible.
